Pocas veces me he sentido tan cuidada, mimada, atendida como ahí.

Bali is full of luxury hotels and villas, that’s a fact. The island becomes a mess of impressive offers as soon as one gets to look for dreamy accommodations. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of the gigantic resorts and hotels. I don’t really like the idea of an extreme massification, and I am sad to witness the progressive loss of authenticity of the island (business is business and tourism here is crowded and important for the country’s economy).
That said, there are places that worth it. Places where luxury is translated into peace, a heavenly and environmentally friendly environment, and exceptional service, and an architecture that is a tribute to the amazing Balinese culture and its people.
The small resort The Gangsa Private Villa is that kind of place. A quiet place located in the Sanur area. The villas that make it up are very intimate (each one has a private garden and a wonderful pool) and the Gong restaurant, located in the middle of the main little road that links all the villas is wonderful.
And what could I say about my villa? Room with an outdoor shower and bath, living room on the first floor with a very pretty wooden balcony, an outdoor fully equipped kitchen where I could cook as if I were in my own house … The house of my dreams! And the Spa was a true gift! Only truly good and professional places left my skin as soft as this one. I recommend the Biokos Facial without hesitation!
The location of the site allowed me to get close to the main street of Sanur by bicycle and the hotel offers a free transfer service throughout the day. I highly recommend (and miss) this place!
